To be honest, I’m really shaky about the whole Twilight Alicorn thing. I don’t think it’s the end, but to be honest, it doesn’t look good. The chances for success here are slim, especially with what the founding principles of the show were touted to be.
I dunno, it just seems like a huge disconnect. Here’s hoping Larson can pull through.

MLP Season 3 - Moving Forward
So I’m hearing it’s the final one. HAVEN’T Really up enough about it to get 100% info on that. (Please note I’m not interested in hearing if this is true or not it’s the premise to the following question)
I’m more interested in asking how the fandom feels about a future with no episodes. Where it sees itself. Will there be BronyCons? Will artist\creators step up to fill the void or move on to something else?
This fandom is large enough to be self sustainable, although probably most of the fandom will be sad with the idea of the show ending relatively soon, that’s not going to stop it, at least not in the near future. We have enough material to keep going for around 2-3 years or more. Specially with a S3 even if it’s short and the end of the series, it will provide us enough pony for quite a while not to mention that there is an official comic book to be released in november.
-Where it sees itsel?
I don’t think it sees itself anywhere and i don’t think it should, just enjoy the ride and don’t worry about the future.
-Will there be BronyCons?
Yes, at least one more, you can be sure of that.
-Will artist\creators step up to fill the void or move on to something else?
Well, that happens regardless of having new episodes. People eventually move on for different reasons, some sooner others later; they could get tired of it, they could find something else to be passionate about or they could stop liking it because they think it’s getting bad or is not as good anymore.
By the way, MLP: FiM is not going to end with S3. Hasbro is not going to cancel one of their highest rated shows, specially not now, since they are investing a lot in ads, merchandise and official comic book, not to mention that there is the upcoming My Little Pony’s 30th anniversary in 2013.
S3 might end up being short with only 13 episodes, the reasons for this are not clear yet, but by no means is the end of the series.

Guess what, this happens with MOST CARTOONS, there is always people who will make that kind of sutff for whatever reason, focusing only on the MLP fandom like if they are the only ones who do that when in reality is more of a general issue, is silly, unfair, ridiculous and ignorant.

By the way, Lauren Faust said that she created the show for little girls AND their parents, she intended to be a show for EVERYONE, but even if it wasn’t, so what?, then they are not allowed to watch it just for not being part of the target demographic, when is something that they genuinely enjoy for whatever reason?. Well if that’s your reasoning, then you are as sick as you think that those people are.
